End of Season Awards

Brocton held their end of season presentation at Kenny’s Sports Bar in Stafford on Saturday 2nd April. Chairman Nigel Pepper began the evening commending everyone at the club for their efforts over the season which finished in a positive light with both first team and Under 21s having successful seasons.


Under 21 manager Neil Beasley expressed pride with seven of his side progressing to the first team this season and a likely fourth placed finish in their league.


First team manager Alex Curtis took over when the side where 18th in the North West Counties League First Division South and a 10th place finish was rightly seen as an exceptional first season in charge. Alex heaped special praise on each of his coaching team and re-iterated that they are very much a team behind the scenes.

Player’s Player of the Year – Ben Richardson

Most Improved Player – Matthew Kilkenny


First Team

Manager’s Player of the Year – Jake Thomas

Young Player of the Year – Ben Haddaway

Player’s Player of the Year – Ben Haddaway


Clubman of the Year went to club captain Kenny Devoir for his commitment both on and off the pitch. An award that had a 100% agreement from everyone present.
