The Football Association have released the provisional league allocations for season 20222/23. As expected, the Badgers have been placed in the North West Counties Football League Division One South. These league allocations are subject to any appeals etc that may be made.
The league has a familiar look to it with three sides leaving and three sides replacing them. Gone from the division are West Didsbury & Chorlton and FC Isle of Man, both promoted to the NWCFL Premier Division. Also departing are St. Martin's who drop down to Step 7.
Replacing them are Ashville FC, promoted from the West Cheshire League, Stockport Georgians, promoted from the Manchester League, and Foley Meir, promoted from the Staffs County League. We look forward to meeting the three new clubs and adding to our friends in the North.
